Tapas, literally translated "little plates", encourages diners to sample smaller portions of several dishes, usually three to five different tastes, rather than the usual one appetizer or one entree.

 
Although the traditional tapas originates from Spain, the modern tapas kitchen is more international and spread out through the whole world. It has now finally reached Fethiye as well. 
SOBE Tapas & Drinks is one of the very few tapas restaurants in Turkey and prides itself with its rich menu comprising of appetizer-sized portions of a variety of dishes, hot and cold. The fusion of traditional Turkish mezes with Mediterranean/Latin American dishes as well as the chef’s own creativity, bring a sense of adventure and excitement to dining and allow for the sampling of flavors and sensations with one meal. Whether you would like to have a small bite with your cold beer or a full meal consisting of 3 to 4 tapas, everything is possible. Although the word tapas is not very well known in Turkey, the tapas culture is very close to the Turkish meze culture where people gather for long hours and socialize whilst sipping their drinks and eating small portions of food.
